Saying that regarding Alceste he will follow Rochlitz's arrangement, that already after the first concert his daughter wanted to ask Rochlitz for another singer, that the despicable behavior of the public cost her many tears, adding that she is very aware of instrumental virtuosos and finds that most fail, yet they are applauded, asking why that is so, saying that the voice (Kehleninstrument) is a delicate thing, saying of the singers [Charlotte?] Böheim, Häser, and Fischer that none of them would have accomplished what his daughter did, mentioning his wife [Costanza Valdesturla], [August?] Müller, Mad. Eberhardt, Schneider (to whose "Finale" Schicht had to put new words [unterlegen]), Wagner, etc.
